Welcome to our new website

We're beyond excited to be launching our brand new Protect Our Winters UK website! Welcome, and thanks for checking it out.

It's been a busy few years for us. We've had a branding update, so everything, including our website, needed a fresh lick of paint. We also launched the POW Pledge, our organisational climate action tool, which requires functionality our old site couldn't provide. On top of this, the content was bolted together, so it needed an overhaul to improve functionality and performance.

With that, we're very excited to be launching a shiny new website that's built for purpose and incorporates new tech. Using Jamstack alone (the new architecture) means our new site will be faster, more secure, and should also have a smaller carbon footprint than the last. Our new website will be bigger, better, faster, and greener!

You may have noticed that previously published blog posts are missing - don't worry, we plan on republishing some of the relevant blogs here over the coming months.

We're beyond grateful to everyone who contributed their time and skills to develop the best website possible - one that really will support our work to help passionate outdoor people become effective climate advocates to achieve systemic solutions to climate change.
